Set Strength Goals: How Andrea Got Healthy By Building Muscle

So much focus is put on weight loss within the fitness industry, that most of us don’t stop and think about strength and the role it plays.

 

While weight loss is a common goal for most gym-goers, you should always incorporate strength training. When you build lean muscle is give your body the ability to burn more calories with a higher metabolism, it gives your body the strength to fight off diseases, and it keeps you fit so that you can stay active even when you think you’re getting old!

Andrea is a grandmother of 4 who discovered the benefits of strength gain:

“Shortly after I turned 60, I noticed that I did not have as much energy and I was becoming weaker.

A traditional gym and their classes did not fit into my schedule. A friend suggested I try Koko and since then, I have loved working out at KOKO over the last 2+ years.
