Tired all the time? Have no energy or motivation to do anything? Hate the way you feel most of the time? These are sentiments shared by almost everyone that I come in contact with on a daily basis. When you don't have a good fitness regimen of proper nutrition and effective exercise, you never feel as good as you should and when you don't feel good it is hard to even motivate yourself to wanna look good.

These are things I believe most people struggle with in the summer:

  1. You don't go to pool parties or the beach often because you don't want to wear a one piece bikini, or a summer dress over your bathing suit, or be the guy in the pool with a shirt on because you are unhappy with your body and it damages your self esteem and confidence when you are forced to see yourself or have others see your body.
  2. You try to be active and stay busy all the time thinking that will lead to fat loss and the body you desire, but it hasn't happened for you and you now realize you must work out to get in shape, but you don't know what to do or how to get to your goals.
  3. You enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream cones, but you are not burning enough calories each day to undo the damage. If you were exercising and boosting your metabolism you could enjoy your barbecues without putting on 5, 10, or more pounds over the next few months.  
  4. You have a hard time finding outfits that make you feel attractive or desirable, because your body is not toned or muscular. If you were strength training you would have an athletic figure but without it you feel soft, flabby, and revealing summer clothes uncovers everything you are able to hide during Michigan winters.
  5. You have been out of shape for so long it seems impossible to ever get back to a time when you were happy with the way you looked and felt.
